hmmmm

Well that started well! So much for me thinking id have time to blog every day! So much for me thinking id have time to do anything at the moment. Started full time work and its pretty much taken over my life i finish and im so tired when i get back i eat have a bath or shower then usualy so tired i end up reading in bed! Exciting times for me at the moment! Going to see the fireworks at the weekend though and a load of friends are coming back up to leicetser for the first time since summer which should be a nice reunion! Am hoping to get everyone together on sunday too as its my day off and id like to do something exciting, maybe even go on a day out as a little reminder of summer. I miss summer.. finished uni sat in parks all day on sunny days going to the beach and monkey forest and camping round friends houses. Its sad that everyones moved back to their separate part of the country and we can all only get together on rare occasions. Still i am still lucky to live with my best friend so always have her company. Must try and do some more visits soon i dont want to loose contact with people.
Other than work have began looking at placements this week or skillset courses for the future to try and get me started in the film industry.. will have to see though i dont want to get too tied down in a career before i go travelling. Got so much of the world to see first! I just want to keep my head down get the money together (after all christmas shoppings out the way) and go explore the world while i still can. If i dont do it now i never will so really dont want to give up on that dream. I end up looking at the sta travel website every week exploring all the places i can go and the things i can do. Cant wait and will have to but plenty of memory cards before i go! I miss my cameras havnt used any in a few weeks am ashamed :( might start doing some mini projects to keep me going. Want to do some more light boxes if i can. I realise if anyones reading this they wont have a clue what im on about so heres a photo of them.. that was taken from a show down in brick lane at the start of the summer that wed worked all year to fundraise for. Turned out really well and i sold both boxes to a couple from New York which was exciting. They were also shown recently in a gallery down in Cardiff. Might try and get them shown again its always nice seeing your work up in different places seeing everyones reactions.
Anyway ive rambled enough now and will hopefully have time to ramble some more in the next few days. So for now bye bye! x

A little about me.

Hi I'm Bethan, I'm 22 and thought id try starting a blog to get my thoughts down as many people do! (thats me up there by the way ^ if you hadn't already guessed that! Its not just some random photograph i thought id try and pass off as myself.) I'm welsh but now live in england about 3 hours away from all my family which can be tough at times (i have a big family- 3 brothers 1 sis 3 neices 2 nephews and parents makes for great family get togethers at christmas!) but for now its where i need to be. I graduated this year, Studied photography and video for the past three years and loved it(oh i miss it so much...) Am now trying to find a job in photography/ any job so that i can get enough money to go travelling have also kind of fallen into the art scene and am showing my work. At the moment I've been sharing a room with my best friend at her home with her family who have been more than amazing about the whole thing. Eventually I want to move out and get my own place again, its tough when your used to doing things for yourself for three years then moving back in to a family home but im so greatfull. Oh and if you hadnt noticed already my spellings not great probably because i was educated in welsh so please forgive me! I know this is all a bit vauge at the moment but hopefully will become more interesting over time. I'll try and give little facts about me as well as whats going on in my life at the moment every day so you can get a better idea of who I am if your interested!
